Test engineer
Nikon Metrology develops a wide range of measurement systems that are used for dimensional quality control all over the world in the automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industry. Nikon Metrology in Leuven (Haasrode) designs and develops our world class laser scanners and optical CMM systems. To further strengthen our Engineering team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Test Engineer for Continental Europe, reporting to our Team Leader, located in Nikon Metrology’s headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Writing of testing procedures and checklists, follow-up of product testing
- Testing of our newly developed products, within given deadlines
- Able to organize testing work
- Responsible for reporting on test status and test results
Qualifications:
- higher technical education (bachelor degree)
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a tester within a highly technical field
- hands-on mentality
- working systematically, very precise and accurate
- feeling for metrology
- ability to work in an international environment
- team-player, working closely together with the development teams
- fluent in Dutch/English
- excellent communication skills
- analytical thinking skills
- programming skills for test automation
- ability to learn
